Tata DOCOMO, the first private telecom operator to launch 3G services in India has finally revealed its 3G tariff details. Presently the services have been launched in 9 circles ( Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai), Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya-Pradesh-Chhattisgarh and UP (West) ) and the company is in talks with PSUs BSNL and MTNL to ink roaming pacts for the rest of the circles.

“We plan to cover all the circles through our roaming pacts by the end of this year,” said Deepak Gulati, Executive President, Mobility, Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL).

Tata Docomo 3G services tariff plan range from Rs 350 to Rs 2000 including monthly limit on minutes, maximum speed and data usage. 3G Video calls will be priced at 0.66 paisa per second ( ~ Rs. 40 per minute! ) This plans will be available with effect from 10 November 2010.

Tata Docomo unlimited 3G plans:

Starting from Rs. 1,000 , Tata Docomo’s 3G unlimited plans allow prepaid and post-paid users to use unlimited high speed internet. But there is a catch in Unlimited plans, after specific 3G data uses Tata Docomo Caps the maximum Internet speed and users will automatically converted into the regular internet (128 kbps) which is free of cost till validity.

1. Rs. 1,000 3G unlimited plan is available for both Prepaid and Postpaid users in Rs. 1,000 with 5 GB free data uses at a speed of 3.6 Mbps. After 5 GB free data uses, it will automatically converted into free unlimited 128 kbps speed. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

2. Rs. 1,250 3G unlimited plan is available for both Prepaid and Postpaid users in Rs. 1,250 with 10 GB free data uses at a speed of 3.6 Mbps. After 10 GB free data uses, it will automatically converted into free unlimited 128 kbps speed. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

3. Rs. 1,275 3G unlimited plan is available for both Prepaid and Postpaid users in Rs. 1,275 with 5 GB free data uses at a speed of 7.2 Mbps. After 5 GB free data uses, it will automatically converted into free unlimited 128 kbps speed. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

4. Rs. 1,500 3G unlimited plan is available for both Prepaid and Postpaid users in Rs. 1,500 with 10 GB free data uses at a speed of 7.2 Mbps. After 10 GB free data uses, it will automatically converted into free unlimited 128 kbps speed. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

5. Rs. 2,000 3G unlimited plans available only for post-paid users at a rental of Rs. 2,000 with 15 GB free data uses at a speed of 21.1 Mbps. After 15 GB free data uses, it will automatically converted into free unlimited 128 kbps speed. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

Tata Docomo Basic 3G Plans:

In basic 3G Plans,user will get free limited data uses at a speed of 3.6 Mbps.

1. Rs. 500 Basic 3G Plan is available for both Prepaid and Postpaid users in Rs. 500 with 650 MB free data uses at a speed of 3.6 Mbps. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

2. Rs. 750 Basic 3G Plan is available for both Prepaid and Postpaid users in Rs. 750 with 2 GB free data uses at a speed of 3.6 Mbps. This plan comes with validity of 30 days.

Tata Docomo Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plans:

Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plans are specially designed for those who are looking for 3G connectivity with voice calls. Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plans are the combination of high speed internet along with voice calling. All calls are on a per-second pulse basis.

1. Rs. 500 (post-paid and pre-paid) Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plan comes with 750 minutes of free calling along with 250 MB of free 3G data uses .

2. Rs. 750 (post-paid and pre-paid) Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plan comes with 1250 minutes of free calling along with 250 MB of free 3G data uses.

3. Rs. 1,000 (post-paid and pre-paid) Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plan comes with 2000 minutes of free calling along with 250 MB of free 3G data uses .

4. Rs. 2,000 (post-paid and pre-paid) Small Screen 3G Life Tariff Plan comes with 5000 minutes of free calling along with 250 MB of free 3G data uses.

Tata Docomo also introduced a Prepay plan for Rs. 350. This has 500 minutes (Local+STD) and 150 MB of 3G Data uses. Further more Tata Docomo has also launched a pre-paid voucher at Rs. 90 with 100 MB of 3G Data with a validity of 7 days.
